The Worthen Foundation’s Building Decarbonization Practice Guide is a seven-volume, practitioner-focused toolkit built to help the AEC community deliver a zero-carbon future. The guide translates complex decarbonization concepts into clear, actionable guidance that teams are applying to real projects today.

More than 500 million people speak Spanish as their native tongue. We are currently adapting the Guide into Spanish to better support integration of decarbonization in design practice in Latin America and beyond. By making this technical content convenient and accessible for thousands more professionals, the project will expand access to practical solutions and accelerate climate action. To be effective, we are producing a version for Spanish design professionals, not just a translation.

The series covers universal project considerations as well as guidance specifically for multifamily/hospitality and commercial/institutional buildings, as well as focused volumes on all-electric kitchens, embodied carbon, and curated policy and academic references. Your support will help us complete and promote tools that AEC professionals can use immediately.

Your tax deductible donation directly furthers our mission.

We are grateful for your support.
